Follow these tips and you can enjoy your Cymbidiums much longer.
- Carefully remove the wrapping sleeve, to avoid the flowers from getting damaged.
- Remove the tube.
- Cut 3 centimetres (1 inch) from the base of the stem.
- The stem needs supporting in a tall, slender clean vase or bottle with clean plain water.
- Do not place your Cymbidiums near a fruit bowl as the ethylene gas will reduce the vase life.
- Keep your Cymbidiums away from direct sunlight.
